Why Do Private Clients Use BHI?
Heart disease, both congenital and acquired, in their many forms continues to be the most common cause of illness and death in the Western World. Timely and accurate diagnosis is therefore essential to guide clinical management and help improve the quality of life and survival of patients.
There are several scanning techniques available to image the human heart, all of which have seen recent, rapid advancement in technological capability. Heart structure and function can be accurately imaged using x-rays, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging to produce superb multi-planar cross-sectional, 3-dimensional and virtual reconstructions.
This can be achieved safely and rapidly.
If you have been diagnosed with a heart condition that may require further investigation with cardiac imaging, or indeed, if you are concerned about the possibility of an underlying heart problem, we may be able to help you.
We have a strong ethical basis to our practice and will not advise you to have any imaging investigations that are not clinically indicated.
We would be delighted to discuss any issues related to the health of your heart or blood vessels. You may not always require heart imaging at first and may require a clinical assessment by one of our expert partner cardiology colleagues, who would also be happy to assist you or arrange a clinical appointment.
